Privacy notice
This notice explains how Ticked Off collects and uses personal data when you visit tickedoff.uk, book a demo, try one of our demos or hear from us about our services. Pupil, parent and staff data held for a school is covered by that school's own privacy notice, because the school is in charge of it (see "Data we hold for schools" below).

Ticked Off is a trading name of Wolstenholme Holdings Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 12743372. Registered office: 310 Wellingborough Road, Northampton NN1 4EP. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

What we collect and why
When you book a demo. Your name, school or organisation, role, email address, phone number and anything you tell us in the form. We use it to arrange and run your demo and to answer your questions. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests, and taking steps at your request before a possible contract.
Business contacts at schools. We contact schools about our services using business contact details that schools publish, such as the name and work email of a head, bursar or safeguarding lead, and details from official registers of schools. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. Every email we send lets you opt out, and we stop straight away if you do.
When you try a demo. The demos use made-up children only. If you type your name into a demo, we keep it with the date, the type of device and any error you hit, so we can follow up on your visit and fix problems. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
When you email us. We keep your message and contact details so we can reply and keep a record of our conversation.
Data we hold for schools
When a school uses Ticked Off, the school is the data controller for its pupils', parents' and staff's data, and we act as its processor under a written data processing agreement. We only use that data to provide the service to the school, following the school's instructions. The school's own privacy notice explains how it uses that data. When a school stops using Ticked Off, its pupils', parents' and staff's details are deleted from our systems.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal data. We use a small number of trusted suppliers to run our website and services, such as website hosting, database hosting, email and our demo booking form (Jotform). They only process data on our instructions. School records are stored in a London data centre. Some suppliers may process data outside the UK; where they do, we rely on the legal safeguards that UK data protection law requires.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and review what we hold regularly. If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep just enough to make sure we don't.
Cookies
tickedoff.uk doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. The demo booking form is provided by Jotform, which may set cookies needed for the form to work.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or ask us to restrict it. Email info@tickedoff.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.
